My Work Stack

Making money is a factor of time + productivity. The goal is to spend as little time as possible but be maximise to productivity.

It’s an equation where we try to get a 100% result/harvest for as little as 1% effort or even 0%. Of course, 0% can be possible after some period of initial dedicated efforts, and that is what is called ‘passive income’.

The lower we go on the side of effort, the higher the reward we get.

Now, ‘Effort’ is the investment we make. It can include:

  1. Time
  2. Money
  3. Labour (Physical Energy)
  4. Sacrifices

The ultimate point of wealth is where we reduce all these things to 0, and output is at 100% or more.

Many, many years ago, labor used to be the major determinant of productivity and consequently wealth, but with computing technology, a lot of things have become easier to do. With the advent of AI just a few years ago, things have even become way easier.

Now the tools that we need to achieve productivity, which leads to wealth, have become cheaper, so Money & Labor can be reduced drastically and yield a lot of productivity (which equates more money).

Here I am listing my favourite tools that I work with mostly every day.

Stick Figure Animation

Stick Figure Animation used to be difficult, particularly with software apps that need you to animate frame by frame or draw each character.

I found a way to use Canva for stick figure animation, and it has proven to be quite effective.

Canva

Canva has already made stick figure characters in different postures, scenes, expressions, etc, that you can use in your stick figure animation projects.

For animating, there are some default animation presets that can bring your stick figure characters to life. There is also an option to do some custom animations.

Canva allows you to export your animations either in HD or 4K.

Try Canva

Eleven Labs

Using Elevenlabs makes it easier and faster to create voice over for my Stick figure animations. With the free version, I get up to 10,000 credits monthly, which is sufficient for creating up to 10 Stick figure animations.

Graphics Design

I once worked as a Graphic Designer and was quite proficient with the use of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, I now use Canva for most of my designs. Once in a while, I use Adobe Illustrator for custom projects that will require some tools missing in Canva (that hardly happens).

Canva

Canva has all the tools you need for design in one place, and that’s why it’s my favorite design tool.

Try Canva

Adobe Suite

Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop still come in handy to me once in a while but they are not as fast as Canva. I am still grateful I picked up the skill of using both apps because some of the design principles I learned while using them help me in creating good designs in Canva.

I believe everyone should have some basic understanding of design elements. My favourite book for this is Non-Designer’s Design Book by Robin Williams.

Newsletter

Newsletters are currently blowing up. Having a large or not-so-large but targeted audience mailing list is an asset. You can have Businesses advertising to your audience, sell your products, or even sell the newsletter. There are many other ways to monetize newsletters.

There are many Email Service Providers, but several factors have affected my choice, including pricing & ESP’s policies, amongst others.

Kit

I use Kit for all my Newsletters, I currently have a total of 1000+ subscribers on my list across all newsletters.

Kit is affordable, but they also accept Nigerians, unlike Beehiiv, which doesn’t accept Nigerians.

With Kit, I am able to automatically sign up everyone who fills a Wpform form on my site to my newsletter.

I can also integrate with plugins like Paid Membership Pro, WP Job Manager, which I use on some of my websites.

Bible Study

At the core of my life is Jesus Christ. My Christianity is the bedrock on which my decisions, my ventures, and my adventures are founded. Christianity colors my opinions, thoughts, worldview, and my very purpose is rooted in Christ.

I believe that God created all men and has a specific purpose for them all, whether we are aware of this or not.

So my faith is so important to me, and because of this, taking in the Word of God in the Holy Bible is crucial.

I use a Bible Software called PC Study Bible for my studies.

PC Study Bible

PC Study Bible contains 20+ versions of the Bible, including KJV, NKJV, NIV, NLT, ESV, GNB, The Message, The Living Bible, and more.

APIs/Scraping

Before Vibe-coding became a thing, I fiddled with tools like Scraping Bee and Apify, but couldn’t make so much from them because of my inability to code, but now with Windsurf AI, I have been able to achieve some big-time scraping results (in my opinion). I built localizednewsletters.com based on the results of the scraping.

Scraping Bee

Scraping Bee enables you to scrape websites and even bypass Captcha or Cloudflare checks. I scraped hundreds of Beehiiv sites that all use Cloudflare.

It has many useful APIs I might try later, like the one for screenshots and the one for Google Search.

Try Scraping Bee

Apify

I have successfully scraped metadata of sites and even scraped the Facebook Ad library with Apify. Apify should be the most affordable tool for developers I have seen. Even with a free account, you can achieve a lot of things.

Video Creation/Editing

Creating video content can be time-consuming, especially when you use software apps like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. I understand that they are kind of the industry standard, but you could get a fairly good output without them. I mean, many people now use CapCut.

Wanting to cut video creation time to the barest minimum from recording to publishing, I figured out a process that works perfectly for me.

I record with either my native iPhone camera or use Detail.co app (if I am to post it on TikTok).

My audio is published as recorded, so no edits done to it whatsoever; that is why I ensure the recording is done with as much quality as I can get.

Before, my video editing used to happen all in Camtasia, which is primarily a screen recording software, but I would have to record the sound into the PC and then sync the video from my iPhone.

So I found a way to record the sound directly into my iPhone using an Audio Interface. Now my workflow includes just the detail app and Descript.

Descript

Descript is a video editing tool that allows you to edit your video as text, just like you would edit a Word document. So by nature, generating captions is one of its strengths. This is the main software that reduces my editing time by about 10x.

It has a feature that helps me reduce silences because I don’t talk fast. Before now, I would have had to manually cut out all the pauses, but that is no longer necessary, as I do that with one click.

I found the caption to be about 99% accurate most of the time, unlike that of every other captioning I have used, including Camtasia, Capcut, and the Detail.co app.

The app doesn’t have any color grading features, but it is good and fast enough for getting your video ready for Social Media.

One of its features I love is the studio sound, which enhances your voice with a podcast quality, but if you have a good recording, you don’t need to.

Try Descript

Camtasia

Camtasia is my default screen recording software app. I have made some how-to videos both on Udemy and YouTube, and I find its features to be very effective. Unlike other video apps, rendering time is faster.

In fact, I used it to edit videos normally, apart from screen recording, until I switched to Descript because it’s faster for that.

I believe it should be one of the most underrated video editors.

Try Camtasia

Detail.co App

Detail is an AI-powered video recording and editing app for iOS.l It helps you record your videos in high quality on an iPhone. Its features are podcast-friendly and are good enough for publishing social media-ready content.

Try Detail

Audio Recording/Editing

I do basic audio editing once in a while – for instance, removing noise from an audio, amplifying it if the recording volume was too low, these are the basic edits I do, and my go-to app is Audacity.

Audacity

Audacity is a free audio editing software that can do most audio-related edits that you may need.

Programmatic SEO

Programmatic SEO involves creating content programmatically. I have built 3 websites with programmatic content.

There are several approaches to building a site with programmatic content, but I basically use Google Sheets for mine. My most recent project is localizednewsletterrs.com, which is a database of Local Newsletters around the world.

All the content was built out in Google Sheets, imported into WordPress, and programmatically pieced together to form individual posts based on the content entered in the rows and columns where they were imported.

A different method I have used was building the content in Google Sheets and linking it with a specific WP Plugin, which allows each post’s content to be read from the source content on the fly.

This method makes it easy for you to edit content in your sheet without making any changes to your WordPress.

WP All Import

This plugin allows you to import your CSV sheets and convert them to WordPress posts or custom post types. That is the plugin I used for my Local Newsletters sites, together with ACF and Search and Filter Pro plugins.

WP All Import

Calculated Fields Form

Calculated Fields Form is essentially a WordPress Calculators Plugin, but I have been able to make some uncommon use cases for it because of its versatility. For instance, it allows you to fetch data from data sources which include Google Sheets, on the fly.

With that, I have been able to create content that changes on the fly without necessarily loading the entire database on the web server.

I am currently building a Cleaning Cost Calculator website with this plugin.

This function is available in the Developer version of the plugin and upwards.

Multiple Pages Generator

MPG makes reading content from a Google Sheet easier, and unlike WP All Import, MPG has a free version, although it comes with a watermark.

Web Calculators

With Web Calculators, I have made $8k+ through Fiverr. I somehow stumbled on a Calculator plugin while building a site for my wife, and later realized it is a powerhouse for any web calculation.

Calculated Fields Form

This plugin doesn’t look attractive at first glance, but it’s so powerful that there is hardly any calculation it can’t do. Aside from that, it functions as a form – I have built a foolproof no-spam contact system with the plugin.

If you need help building your calculators, I am open to work.

Here are a few samples of calculators I built.

AI Writer

For some of my content projects, I use AI writing tools, either to create fresh content or convert my YouTube videos into blog posts. These are the tools I use.

Seowriting.ai

This AI writer delivers a quality of content that is close to human-written, with plenty of options to choose from while generating the content.

Having used other AI writers, this is the most affordable for the quality of the content it generates.

To get 25% off your subscription, use MADEGOKE at checkout.

Try Seowriting.ai

Videotoblog.ai

I got a lifetime deal on this tool on Appsumo.

It’s a tool that helps you convert youtube videos into blog posts that you can post on your WordPress site, it can also be integrated with other platforms like Webflow, Medium, LinkedIn, X and other platforms directly after being published.

AI Coder

AI coding tools are many, and each of them has its comparative advantages. I have found that Windsurf is both affordable for me and good enough to achieve my goals.

Windsurf

Windsurf has helped me build WordPress plugins and was also useful for building my Local Newsletter database.

Here are some tools I have built with Windsurf:

  1. Bible Verse to PNG Converter
  2. Bible Reader with Time
  3. Google Search Operator Builder
  4. Stick Figure Generator
  5. Text to PNG Converter
  6. Transcription to Word-Count Calculator
  7. Tweet Engagement Calculator
  8. Twitter Advanced Search Builder
  9. Temporary URL Generator

Hosting

Hosting websites has been an important part of my online money-making since 2019. Building websites for myself and niche websites for many has been an interesting adventure.

Being a digital builder, I need a hosting service that would accommodate multiple websites and, at the same time, be affordable. Because some of my projects are just a test, and I wouldn’t want to invest so much into them.

Hosting.com (Formerly A2 Hosting)

I have been using Hosting.com since 2020, and I have never regretted my decision. Their services are far cheaper than those of most hosting companies. I use the Accel plan, which allows me to host multiple websites with them. The plan comes with 600,000 nodes, infinite storage, unlimited bandwidth, and other amazing benefits.

They allow you to choose the datacenter you want your sites hosted on.

Try Hosting.com

WordPress Theme

There are thousands of WordPress themes to choose from, but I value site speed a lot, and that was a major factor for me. Using speed as a core judgment factor drastically reduces my choice, as there are just a few themes built specifically with speed in mind. I used it in determining which theme I’d use for all my sites. I also need a theme that is highly customizable and has ample documentation – GeneratePress checks all these boxes for me.

GeneratePress

This theme is the default for all my personal projects. Together with the premium plugin, there is virtually nothing I cannot create, no layout I cannot achieve. I use the Gutenberg editor for all my projects, and GeneratePress + Generateblocks makes it possible for me to do anything I could have done with a page builder without jeopardizing the speed of my pages.

I have tried many other themes, but GeneratePress works best for me.

Try GeneratePress

Domain Registrar

The major determinant for the choice of registrar I work with is Whois privacy. Many registrars offer this service as an add-on, but the Registrars I work with offer this for free, and their services are the most affordable.

Namecheap

Namecheap checks all the boxes for me. They offer free WHOIS privacy protection. They had the cheapest domains until recently.

Spaceship

Namecheap created a new brand called Spaceship, which is essentially Namecheap with a new name and brand, but the domains on Spaceship are even way cheaper than those of Namecheap – this somehow creates a competition between the 2 brands. I am currently moving all my domains from Namecheap to Spaceship.

I get the same quality of service for less, with a new, modern, and more intuitive website of Spaceship.

Try Spaceship

Web Analytics

These are the tools I use to track and analyse data for all my websites.

Google Analytics

GA gives a lot of information about traffic sources, location, etc., which are quite insightful and helpful in making decisions about a site. It’s also essential to have a GA account if you’re going to sell a website. I flip sites often, so this is always on my stack.

To integrate this with my WP Site, my favorite plugin is MonsterInsights.

Try Google Analytics

Google Search Console

This is one of my favorite tools because it lets me know exactly what queries people are searching for related to the content on my site. Search Console Insights even combines data from Google Search Console with that of Google Analytics, and I derive satisfaction from checking it every day.

Every website owner should definitely have a GSC account.

Try Google Search Console

Microsoft Clarity

This tool literally allows you to watch what users are doing on your site in real-time. It takes recordings of every interaction on your site, and you can watch as many videos as you like for totally free. All the videos are recorded not on your site but on Microsoft’s cloud. That’s totally insane, you got all the data you can ever need about UX, checkout, dwell time, bounce rate, and even more. The tool even gets more powerful when you integrate it with Google Analytics, you now have all your data in one place.

Try Microsoft Clarity

Bing Webmaster Tools

This is Microsoft’s version of Google Search Console, but it also includes data similar to that of Google Analytics.

It’s a useful tool for measuring your site’s performance on Bing. It’s highly recommended for anyone looking to get traffic from Bing users.

SEO – Keyword Research

I use a combination of different tools based on the project I am embarking on. For quick confirmations, I use Ahrefs’ Free Keyword Generator, but if I need something more comprehensive, like studying a niche, I’d either use the paid Ahrefs plan or Ubersuggest.

Ahrefs

Ahrefs has the most comprehensive data on keywords – their data source is quite elaborate. I have also used Semrush, which is good, but it doesn’t provide as many keywords for a query or even backlinks for a domain like Ahrefs does.

Though Ahrefs is quite pricey, they have a free version that allows you to do some basic things. I occasionally use the paid version when I have to do extensive research.

Try Ahrefs

UberSuggest

This tool is owned by Neil Patel. It gives you data that is good enough for what you find on Google keyword planner, but it’sn’t as detailed as that of Semrush and Ahrefs. I have, however, found it useful for some keyword research – I have a lifetime deal of it.

Try UberSuggest

Video Summary

Out of all the many AI tools that help you summarize YouTube videos, my favorite is Notegpt.

Notegpt.io

Here is why I love it :

You can summarize any YouTube video with it in a matter of seconds, yeah, but that’s not all – you can have a chat with the video using the tool’s AI Chat Feature. And that’s the killer part of it.

Not to forget, it can also summarize PDF, Image, PPT, Word, TXT, eBook, Audio, etc.

These are 5 Cool Things You Can do with it.

1. Do a deep dive into the content of Industry Experts that you love. It’s not new to see creators going viral for digesting and doing an explainer of content from Industry Experts. For Instance, I have seen Worksheets, Carousels, Playbooks, etc of Alex Hormozi, Greg Isenberg, and others getting as much attention as the original content.

This tool makes it easier for you to do just that. Because you can have a chat with it to extract quotes with timestamps, confirm your assertions based on the overall views expressed in the content, and even ask for corroboration from other content on the Internet.

2. Get yourself mentored for Free
You found a creator you love, you can batch summarize all of their videos or a playlist, have an AI chat, and ask all of your questions for free. The tools maintain a history of your summaries so you can always go back to that and ask your questions.

This saves you from typing ‘Can you mentor me’ on every random video that pricks your heart 🙂 Just do it yourself.

3. Convert YOUR videos to posts
I am emphasizing ‘YOUR’ because if you do this with others’ videos, you are stealing, and that makes no sense, right?

First, this is not the best tool for this task. I have a lifetime license of videotoblog.ai, and that’s what I use to convert all my YouTube videos to blog posts on my site, but if you don’t want to pay:

a. Use Notegpt.io to summarize your video
b. Copy the summary and the transcript
c. Tell the AI chat to create a blog post outline from the content
d. Go to ChatGPT and paste the outline. Give it an instruction to generate a blog post from the transcript following the outline.
e. Fine-tune the post with your head; you made the content in the first place, so you’re the expert at it.

4. Find a Quote
So you sometimes watch a video and someone makes a point, but you really cannot remember how it was phrased. AI chat of Notegpt can help you figure out the exact point where the point was made if you explain what the point is.

5. Extract Social Media Content Ideas
You can use the AI Chat to generate images, carousel, and short video ideas from any long-form video after making a summary.

Default WordPress Plugin Set

These are WordPress plugins I use across all my WordPress sites.

Ads Inserter

The name suggests it’s for inserting Ads, yes, I use it for that sometimes, but my use of it goes beyond that. I use it to install custom codes, blocks, images, etc. Although my use of it has reduced after I started using GeneratePress Pro, which allows you to use elements, hooks, etc. This makes it possible for you to have any element anywhere on your WordPress pages.

Use Ads Inserter

Calculated Fields Form

This plugin has made me more money than any other web tool. Apart from building calculators with it, I use it for all my contact forms, and it is effective in preventing spam. I get 0% spam contact across all my sites. This is not typical for WordPress sites that have contact forms with not recapcha or Cloudflare installed. I don’t have either Recaptcha or Cloudflare, but I am 100% protected.

Try Calculated Fields Form

If you use Gutenberg to build your WordPress site, this plugin can make your work easier by adding more blocks to your site. It’s specifically built for GeneratePress, but it works for other themes as well.

Generateblock

I cannot not have it on any site I am building, it’s almost compulsory for me. It’s like Elementor for Gutenberg sites.

Try Generateblock

Content Aware Sidebars

I use this plugin to create dynamic sidebars for content sites with multiple categories so that the sidebar matches the content of specific pages.

Try Content Aware Sidebar

Wordfence

This is the first plugin I install on any new site. It takes care of all the security configurations for the site. I use it to set up 2-factor authentication, block brute force attacks, and some other security settings.

Wordfence has a large network actively monitoring vulnerabilities across WordPress sites, and it helps prevent your site from being attacked.

Try Wordfence

WPS Hide Login

The default login URL of any WP site is always the domain/wp-admin, I use this plugin to change my default login URL. It gives any attacker one extra work to do before starting out their brute force campaign, which I still have other layers of security attending to.

I am constantly learning and trying out new things. I will update this page as I discover more tools. Note that some of the links on this page are affiliate links, but I genuinely enjoy using all of these tools, and that is why I can recommend them.

Anyway, taking a look at the tools I use gives you an idea of what I doo daily and how I might be able to help you (if you need me).

Thank you for reading so far.
